Getting from A to B.

March 31 - Since our car broke down in Melbourne and there's no mechanics open at Easter to fix it, this photo shows my main form of transport for the next few days.

Floating past......

March 30 - I woke up in Melbourne today to some hot air balloons floating past my window. There was a red one too but in this pic it's just disappeared behind the building.

The Yarra

March 29 - A similar photo to the one with Rob in it. The Yarra River, Melbourne.

St Augustine's Catholic Church

March 28 - I love Melbourne's beautiful churches. A real shame they're surrounded by ugly concrete buildings like the one in the background of this photo.

A trip to Melbourne!

March 27 - Despite the fact this is a terrible photo because my fingers got in the way, Rob and I had a good wander around Melbourne as part of a trip to see punk band Good Riddance. Hence the T-shirt.

Raspberry goodness.

March 26 - I'm feeling inspired by this raspberry ripple dessert. I will give it a go and blog about the results!!

frankie!

March 25 - A girl at work told me enthusiastically about this magazine - and now that I've had a read of one, I get what she means. It's very cool. It's a very pretty looking magazine - it's got matte pages with lots of big photos and a clean layout. It's also got a clear theme - it features quirky things, retro, vintage, knitting-related stories and pretty photos of things like birds and teacups. This copy has got a story about pets and what kind of music they respond to.

So close........

March 24 - The Marmite saga is nearly over. My family is sending me photos of the jars they're about to post. Just post them already!!

Reflections

March 23 - A beautiful day! I took this at Victoria Park Lake on the way to a yoga class.

Unwelcome visitors

March 22 - I just about died when I discovered this spider in my bathroom. Eek. Since the boyfriend is not really doing his duty - I will have to be the spider catcher. OMG.

What I'm reading...

March 21 - I have to admit. I read a lot of trash. But I've heard Bryce Courtney's Jessica is not a bad yarn.

The drought is over.

March 20 - Marmite is back!!! It landed on NZ shelves today. I'm getting the family to send me some - fast post.

Food!

March 19 - Deliciousness! Mushroom, beef and haloumi salad!

Sprouts!

March 18 - Rob's growing his own sprouts. Quite cool to watch them grow.

Inspirations

March 17 - I just thought the light streaming through this window was really beautiful.

A step back in time

March 16 - A 1970s party!

Pretty little teacups

March 15 - The third teacup so far...this one's from a bazaar in Katamatite.

Autumn skies

March 14 - I'm enjoying the cooler weather and a bit more rain....

When life gives you lemons....

March 13 - eat them with fish :)

So excited!!!

March 12 - The end of Marmageddon is in sight. I am so excited about this - Marmite is making a comeback. I've given my family strict instructions to send me some!!!

Sweet little birds

March 11 - I picked up these cute little birds at a furniture store in Benalla. They are very sweet!

Mad Cow Mud Run!!

March 10 - A clean-looking group of five before we embarked on the Mad Cow Mud Run!! A 12km course with 16 obstacles. Good fun.

A spot of quality reading

March 9 - Nothing like a feature on Ryan Gosling to brighten one's day. I did like him in Lars and the Real Girl. Great movie.

Shoes glorious shoes

March 8 - I have to be honest and admit I was struggling tonight to find something to photograph. But what better than a favourite pair of shoes! They are actually comfortable which is rare.

Growing pains

March 7 - I can't figure out how to rotate the photo but this is basically the same six flowers that I photographed a few weeks back. So cool to watch them grow!

And early starts

March 6 - I'm proud of my gym efforts of late. Getting up and leaving super early for RPM. Now just got to keep the momentum going!!!

Bright lights

March 5 - The end of a long day - I just thought the trees, sky and lights in our work carpark looked quite pretty!

Two of a kind!

March 4 - My funny little cats! They wash each other, fall asleep together, eat together, chase each other around all day and fight together. Pretty cute!

Benalla teacups

March 3 - This is the second teacup I've acquired and there seems to be a trend emerging - buy a different teacup in each town/regional centre. I love them! So Tatura, tick! Benalla tick!

Warm roast vege salad

March 2 - tried out this recipe tonight - it was delicious! The recipe came from a dietician that visited us at work.

Time for change

March 1 - I can't believe it's March already. I've been thinking about goals and what I want to get out of this year.....

Corio St river

Feb 28 - The aftermath of flooding - Corio St becomes a river.....

More than a shower of rain

Feb 27 - It started off so well - a shower of much needed rain in Shepparton. And then it kept raining, and raining......

Not quite dancing in the moonlight

Feb 26 - Today is the day Jamie and Will head back to Melbourne and then back to NZ at the end of the week. Sad to see them go!
